What I'm reading?
Jun. 2nd, 2009 06:37 pmAlbert Camus : Lettres à un ami allemand (Letters for a German friend) has trapped my curiosity since it's about the Second World War. It was a fast read, but I didn't enjoy it very much. I still can't really say WHY, but something really bothered me. At least I read for once Camus!
Then I read Nosaka: La Tombe des Lucioles (Grave of the Fireflies) which turned out more interesting than I expected after the famous animation film (which I didn't like... well, I simply never started to care what was happening in the film). But it wasn't good enough.
In the meantime I literally BROWSED through Ken Follett: Der dritte Zwilling (The third twin) since it was so interesting, while not constantly well-written or maybe translated. Still, a 500 pages book within a day? That's rare.
Now I'll be probably getting back to another ring The Bells of Nagasaki.
